    Hi all.

Not looking for someone to do the work for me but I've had a look online for a new laptop and I'm completely lost as to where to go, what to buy, what's a bargain/what's not so hoping someone can help me if they know any decent deals out there!

Basically I'm looking for a laptop for work (just word documents!), internet (watching online tv, facebook, boards.ie :P ) and for transferring music etc...

I've a budget of around 400euro or so, less would be great! Not looking for anything too snazzy, as the above description of my needs shows. Just something fairly reliable, don't care about brands so long as it works.

Anyone have any good recommendations or deals for me? I've heard Windows9 is pretty dodgy on a non-touchscreen laptop too. Is it possible to buy a windows 8 laptop new?

Again, any advice would be appreciated! Thanks again!

Should suit your needs, good spec for the money. No windows 9 out yet, still on 8 and it is fine on non touch screen, i have it.
