Anyone any experience with the PowerEdge 1U boxes?

Got a bunch of them in work there recently and fitted them with 16Gb (x4 4Gb) of ram. The ram is rated at DDR3-1333 but I can only get it to run at 1066Mhz. I've played around with the various settings in the BIOS, custom profile and manually setting to 1333 and bumping the voltage to 1.5v but no luck. My only other thinking it's a CPU limitation?
    The cpus (x2) are Xeon E5-2403 @1.80GHz

    Cheers for any input.

Seems to be a limitation of the processor >.<
I'll be ordering the hardware myself in future.....
