He set up the first mens domestic violence shelter in Canada and had been working tirelessly for 20 years to help male victims of domestic violence and raise awareness DV. He received no funding from the Canadian government and ran the shelter out of his own pocket and what little charitable donations he could get. His suicide has been speculatively linked to his inability to financially support the shelter any longer

That's sad. One or two lads in my life would have needed the help and shelter that this man could provide, if it weren't for their insightful families.

Couldn't have clicked on the hyperlink in the OP, no?

Apparently he remortgaged his house in order to fund the shelter and he was unable to make the repayments and that was the primary cause of his suicide.

No. Without any bit of context I just image it to be spam.

If someone wants to post a link, they can do it on facebook or something, for a discussion site, the least they could do is discuss the item they present.
