To anyone with a bolt action rifle (not going to say sniper cause im far from one) i've been searching the net for a few D.I.Y mods to do on my mauser sr and came across this. I have done it this evening on an second barrel i have and it works a treat. Next to do is my main barrel and put it to full test. It seem's to be used alot in america but then they have a higher fps so im hoping i will see a difference will keep ye posted.

I decided to use a grub screw for a neater finish.
added info. with the mauser i had to find the centre hole on top of the barrel and then step back 10mm and doing this allows the screw to put pressure on the arm directly over the hop up nub for better contact.

Did this mod to my rifle to and it makes some difference. U can fine tune the hop up perfect and it make it all alot easier as the grub screw is on the top of the barrel. gave it a quick test and can see its giving me between 5 and 10 yards extra range.
