Are ashtrays getting smaller?

    I'm bored. And I've just noticed that the ashtray I'm using is considerably smaller than ashtrays that I have from the 70s. Has anyone else noticed the dimunition of ash receptacles. I am also slightly drunk, however this is irrelevent.

    In my (limited experience) yes. The one I nicked years ago, when we could smoke indoors, is much bigger than than the ones i've had to buy since the ban came in.
