Quantity Surveyor heading to Christchurch

    Hi all,

    Looking for some advice from your good selves!!

    I'm a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with around 4 years experiecne heading to Christchuch in coming months.

    Looking for advice on how I should go about applying for visas / jobs

    - should i get WHV and apply for jobs when get out there?
    - Should i apply for job while in Ireland and get visa through comapny?

    My job is on the cantabury skills shortage list so there seems to be loads of opportunities!!

    Does a WHV allow you to work all the time you are out there??

    if you accept a job offer before you go out does the comapny have
    a hold on you for a period of / conditions to that job offer??

    Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
