Has anyone used an iphone charger, or anything similar to charge their Garmin Edge?
Only reason I'm asking is I'm heading away on hols next week and its looking like I'll be picking up my repaired Garmin on the way to the airport, and I want to use it while I'm away. I don't have to original charger to hand, only the lead, as I use my laptop to charge it usually. I don't want to drag the computer away with me and so I was wondering if my iphone charger will do a job or not. I've tried googling this, but cant find an answer.

You can buy a USB to wall socket adapter.

If you mean - can you plug the usb part of the Garmin charger lead into the wall socket part of the iPhone charger - then Yes you can.

I use my HTC charger all the time to charge the Garmin. Just need to use a different connection lead for the differing jack sizes.

I bought one of these dual usb chargers for a friend of mine. Handy for holidays with phones, cameras, garmins needing charging at once.

Thanks - that was the exact answer I was looking for.
