    Hi there ,
I'm in the middle of wiring an 'Granny flat' for a relative & he wants to install cabling for an oil burning boiler outside for possible future use.

My question is what cable will be required at it ?
    3 x 2.5 SWA is what I think but I'm not 100% sure.
    Can anyone confirm ?

All the internal stuff (controls etc). can be accessed through the roof void so it's just what needs to run outside.

Run 4#1.5 swa allowing for a frost stat which comes fitted in most outdoor boilers so they need a permanent supply
