The curse of the touchscreen

So I was having, shall we say, 'a difference of opinion' with a family member on the phone today and it struck my how infuriating it is not to be able to slam down the phone in frustration. All one can do is furiously stab at the screen, in the hope of releasing some angst. However this, slight omission of anger can be cruelly taken away if the opposing caller manages to hang up first!! Oh the pain! :(

Anybody got any other disappointments in the world of modern technology?

Could you not just hop the phone off the ground... That'd really show them..

Why don't you say "hand on, me phone is dying". Then call them back on a landline and slam the phone the feckers then?

Common people being able to access a world wide radiated library of information.

Being able to access and actually accessing are two very different things!

Another curse of the touch screen is when you're scrolling through facebook and you accidentally like something.

My UPC box has the same problem... And the remote has this fascination with the number 4 for some reason.

Nope. If it is this remote, then there's no personality disorder. It is just singla handedly the worst piece of technology ever created.

It really should be called a remote con-troll.

    Fecking useless.

Another curse of the touch screen is when you're creeping on your ex's facebook and you accidentally friend her.
