Mods, i dont think this necessarily fits the bill for stolen so ive gven it a thread of its own move as is necessary.

A relative of mine was driving from Sligo on the N59 Sligo-Ballina road going towards Ballina and eventually Enniscrone between 11:30pm and 12:50pm. Was carrying two bikes after being serviced before the Tour of Sligo on a car rack. Between there and Enniscrone one of the bikes went missing. It was a Merida Road Race 901. Similar to the one pictured here. He went back and checked the road afterwards so it must have been picked up by someone. It was still on the car leaving sligo town centre as it was visible on CCTV. It has relatively distinctive tyres which are green/yellow. The frame number etc. weren't recorded. Merida_901_18_2010_Road_Race_Bike_White_Green_55cm-1983-3094.jpg

If anyone has any information on it please contact me via PM or Sligo Garda Station.

If it on a roofrack and on passenger side it could easily be in a field and not viewable from road. I would put a call into local radio.

    Hope you find it

Thanks esroh, it was on a tow bar mounted bike rack. Ocean FM called it out earlier today. The other bike made it back OK.
