Try copy+, it's fiddly but the only way really.

    http://www.skycopyplus.co.uk/

All the info as to what you can do there.

The alternative is to copy them to dvd using a dvd recorder.

Wont work if your using a different box and card, programmes will only work on ur old card when the hard-drive is upgraded for a big one.. Watch them or try and record onto dvd which can be difficult.

Once your subscription ends, you won't be able to play them back.

I was able to bring the new card to the old box and watch the recordings. But as zerks said the best option is to copy them onto DVD or onto a DVD recorder that has a hard drive.

You could also copy them onto your computer but you'd need a TV card in your computer and connect from the RF out on the Sky box to the i/p on the TV card, but I think the premium channels (Sports/Movies) will not copy over !
/it's been a while since I've done this so I'm open to correction

Other options include bringing a cable from the old box from 'RF out' to your TV and use the 'magic eye' but obviously a current active card needs to be in the old box !
