I assure you I am not on any board. The pay would not be good enough for me to leave my business in the hands of others.

We received a text this afternoon

For some reason I don't get texts other than the alert ones.

Would you agree that they are uncompetitive?

no .. have a toe dipped in the previous 2 which have delivered 0.8 c/l over the variable BUT beware of patting oneself on the back too much cos 2013`s price is gonna leave both of the earlier schemes in its wake and i think on completion they will lag the variable price.. i dont like this talking down of 2015 milk price as an aside.. coming from the biggest processer in the country and all

    Couldn't agree more.
I take it from your earlier post that the council rejected the two guys again

an affront to democracy... total neutering of all local and regional commitee`s when its now the council that will "elect" our board members. .. should we scrap the whole regional break down within glanbia and vote for board members off a panel of candidates regardless of location?..

Got the text myself also. Paid 325ish for a 16% high ufl nut from Paul and Vincent last load, where does that fit in with glanbias prices?

I agree re. getting rid of all area and regions as people get very ridged and set in their ways, but how would the panel be selected or would it be open to all comers?

i presume a hybrid system would be needed initally so plenty blood letting for a while... basically being from an area has fuk all relevance to what matters in the big picture so whats important for me is likewise to u . so i`d say th make up of boards would be along dairy( liquid/manuf), drystock and tillage lines... the farce of thre same board men sitting on 3 boards would really show up in that scenario.. let em get bogged down at co-op level but fuk it if id like to see non dairy lads on giil .. (thanks anyway for the 6% lads :D)
