In need of a change of clubs, getting bored with mine at the moment. I have a TM Burner 2.0 Irons and somebody has offered a swap with Callaway x20 irons.

I don't have much experience or played with Callaways...

Does anybody have any idea if i'm getting a good deal there or not. I play off 11 at the moment

Sounds like a fair deal to me, project x 5.0 shaft is a regular flex shaft and tbh you would do well IMO to get more than €30 a club for the burners in a straight sale.

if your selling the burners stick an add up on adverts and link it back to the for sale section here (make sure and let me know too - might be interested in them!)

no not a good deal. TM superior club to Callaway imo.

Sure try them out, if you hit them better then swap.

Pretty sure there isn't a player out there who wouldn't swap a €1000 set for a €200 set if they were hitting the cheaper set better and saving themselves a few shots a round.

Used x14 myself for years and there a great club got me from 18-12, Now using Titleist CB's as I wanted something more workable.

Is this a temporary swop ?. As in, 'let's swop for a few weeks & see how we get on ?'

Have played with the Callaways (as hire sets) in Portugal, but wouldn't be swopping my Mizunos for them.

My advice ; Go with the fitting / trade-in option, but if that's not on then swop for a month & then decide.
