Liverpool Airport To City Center.

Heading to Liverpool with some friends for the weekend. My work schedule means I can only get the 23.05 flight from Dublin. An online search seems to indicate that by the time I have arrived.. All public transport options aside from Taxi service will have finished for the night.

Have I missed anything ? Any tips ? And what would the taxi likely cost from Liverpool airport to James St, looks like a bit of a trek !

I thought the 500 bus ran until about midnight but just checked and its off before eight which is ridiculous. I used to live not far from james street think it was about twenty for a black taxi. If you get a private taxi it was a good bit cheaper think around 12 or 13 pound with delta. their number is 01519247373, im sure you could probably ring them from the terminal and theyd get you

We've used the 500 bus and it was great , shame it stops so early. Taxi to James st will be about 20 pounds

Thanks guys, yeah does seem a bit strange that it will stop that early couldn't believe it myself when I checked it out hense me asking for your gouge on here ! There will be 2 of us in the Taxi so can live with 20 notes considering the flights cost not much at all.. Cheers !

i used these before very good and reasonable rates and cheaper than a black cab.

i got them to swing by my hotel and then over to Anfield, it was not bother to them at all.
