That first shot by dirtyghettokid is an absolute belter. Look how sharp that diver is against the background. It throws the motion at you. I love it.

The shot by adrian.sadlier warms my heart, especially the way the baby is peeking out at you. Beautiful shot!

i'm more delighted that you said "her" ahhhh very rare when people remember that i'm a lady (i lol when i think of myself as a lady bahahaha)

some of the pics are unreal, and you just wish you could add them all in..

I'd say you have a discerning eye, you are definitely picking the best of the boards.ie crop time and time again. I thought it was a group of people picking these, the fact that it's just one is impressive. The only criticism I'd have of POTW is that I am often left longing for captions or info relating to the photos. I know it's not often possible to include same but I'm a caption junkie, especially when it comes to good photos. Good photos make me want to know more about them. When? Where? How? etc

i have to go through particular dates and take note of the highest thanks of all the pics in that time period. there's no special treatment or algorithm. it's all pics chosen by all of you by way of thanks!

so when the photos are chosen, i go and "edit post" and copy the code that the user had in for their photos... so if there was a link in their original post, then it will be in the POTW thread
