How much meal per head per day after calving would you give heifers and for how long? I want to get them in calf again They are on good grass at the moment

My experience is in dairy only. Meal feeding has no effect on fertility FACT. That said nutrition has a major impact. With our herd we remove meal as soon as growth meets demand and cover Tetney with cal mag dust. If we hit a wet day or two we will reintroduce meal as I said its about nutrition. A rule we follow is that an animal should not have less grub than yesterday.
