    Hello Folks,

There are 9 acres, 6 ours and 3 a neighbours. We have no stockl there. ¬He has plenty. We are `thinking of selling to him, or alternatively to someone else if he doesn't want it.Its all one section. Its marshy in parts with some good grazing. Bout 50/50. Could really do with some drainage work. It also has a turf bank, apart from the 9 acres.

How much might it be worth? Can I sell to someone else or do I need his permission?

    Thanks a lot,

    John

I don't have any knowledge of these matters myself, but in your bump up, in fairness you did say "anyone?"

It might be worth posting at least part of your question in the legal discussion forum if you get no joy here. They should be able to answer you on the legalities of selling to him or a third party at least.

Also there is this website, which may give you some advice as regards your rights to sell to a third party if the other fella doesn't want to buy it.

Good luck with selling it anyway, as far as what it's worth I'll leave that one for the experts!
