I have recently noticed that when I switch on the AC fan on my 2004 C180 Komp that a noise is coming from under the dashboard just left of center. Has anyone got similar experience or know what the problem is?

I had a similar issue with noise when AC was on or when I put the car in reverse.
The issue is the Alternator pulley. It needs replacing
