    Are you sure? Is it not his father who is the DJ on LMFM? :confused:

    Either way, very sad news. I remember him winning the money & how nice the shopkeeper was at the time.

    Unfortunately op is correct, Dermot Finglas jnr (DFJ) passed away in Spain according to Drogheda Independent . He was a quiet gent and my condolences to his friends and family -RIP

    Dermot snr. was the man with the country show on LMFM. It's awful news for any family.
