I have a Windows Vista HP G60 Notebook PC laptop. I have tried to set up my Lexmark X1100printer and have the relevant cables connected, used the installation disc etc. When I try to print I keep getting avoice message saying “problem communicating with the printer” and this messagepops up:

    Communication Not Available

The printer cannot communicate with the computer.

    Try these solutions:

Disconnect and reconnect the printer’s power cable.
Disconnect and reconnect the USB cable.
    Restart your computer.

I have done this but it still doesn’t print. Any suggestionswhat the problem could be? What could the "communication" problem be
