Lidl accept credit cards

    Lidl now accepting credit cards!
    When did this happen? Did they cut a deal with the credit card monoliths on lower transaction charges?

    Since at least the middle of last month, saw the sign up in a store.

    Not sure if/what deal they got.

    I was there about 1 or 2 months ago and a girls laser/visa debit didn't work for some reason, she asked if they accepted other cards, they said yes Visa and Mastercard, I don't think they always could they just didn't do accept them unless there was no other option, I also notice now the thing that they put on checkout for next customer now lists credit and debit cards.
