Hmm Well I read on their site that you can do a maximum of 2 internships. I don't remember them specifying if you have to have quit/completed either. I emailed them the other day about quitting one and got a reply within a few hours. If you do that tomorrow you should get a reply the same day.

I have a question in relation to the transfer from Internship scheme (JobBridge) into the BTEA, and I hope someone might help me.

My question is: May a period spent on an ongoing Internship Scheme (JobBridge) count towards the qualifying period for the Back to Education Allownace (BTEA)?

    and

The most importantly: May I access the BTEA Scheme directly from the Internship Scheme (JobBridge) while I am still on the Internship? I mean, may I leave the Internship voluntarily before it ends in order to directly apply for the BTEA.

I was getting Jobseekers Benefit for 10 months immediately before I commenced my Internship (JobBridge), which means that I am entitled to the BTEA, but I cannot find any information on whether I will be penalised or refused social welfare payments if I voluntarily leave the Internship scheme before it ends. Hmm..

Yes that you an participate in a maximum of 2 internships. There likely is more details on this, but that's all they told me.

Also, for anyone that needs to know, I confirmed with them that if an internship doesn't fit for any reason, you're leaving does not affect receiving standard unemployment assistance benefit.

You can transfer to a second one I believe, so I was told anyway. It just knocks time off the second one ie if you have a month down in one you can do only 8 months in the second.
