hiya I am currently looking for a debs dress to hire or buy for under a hundred euro. its not my debs so i dont want to spend a lot of money as i am not working and still in school. In galway area if anyone can help i would delighted and greatful..

Debenhams had some lovely evening dresses for under €100 mark in the Cork store the last time I was in, so have a look in the Galway store. Never ordered there myself but I plan to try them for the next formal event that comes up. I've heard they are pretty good quality but can't vouch for them personally. Some really nice styles for reasonable prices and you can pick your colour with every dress which is nice.

Ordering online is a pain for sizing so if you do end up ordering online I find its worth ordering a size up and getting it tailored. Can cost between 10 and 50 euros depending on how much needs to be adjusted.

Just remembered www.lightinthebox.com which would be a similar site to the last poster mentioned. Reviews and feedback online seems to be very positive for them, and there is loads of choice most designs are available in a number of colours

I'm also trying to find a dress, not a debs dress but it's for a work ball so want something floor length and not too expensive. The problem is I'm 5'9" which isn't that tall but all of the dresses online say the models are 5'6" so they'll definitely be too short for me!

I want something nice and simple, maybe in a burgundy or a deep green, nothing poofy.

Give Tk Maxx a look, they usually have some lovely dresses in all different colours, lengths and price ranges. Or why not get a plain maxi dress and use the rest of the money to accessorize with some new jewellery, a statement necklace, a nice belt etc...
