    Hi.

Anybody have any advice on a new set of wheels...choice is dura ace c24 9000 or mavic krysium SLR not SL... I'm a heavy rider 6 foot and 14 stone. I hear SLR are not good climbing wheels which surprises me....

I also like climbing so stiff and light would be good.

    Thanks

    Ken.

I recently picked up c24 7900, love em, really can't go wrong with them! No experience of the mavics for comparison though.

Personally I wouldn't buy Mavic wheels again, I think they are just overrated for the money they are asking. The c24 in the other hand are excellent, no personal experience but I haven't heard a bad word about them. Anyway, not wanting to sound rude, but they are is a ton of information in previous threads about wheels.

Handbuilt handbuilt handbuilt, you'd get a savage set for the same money as DA c24's or ksyrium SLR's....

Yes seems c24 are better than wheels twice the price...
