    I was watching that trailer and thinking to myself "This looks cliché, mindless, trashy and the tone seems so familiar."

    And then of course, up pops "from the writers of Gossip Girl" and it made perfect sense.

    Not surprising at all, then, to learn that the first episode attracted only 4.4 million viewers and a 1.2/3 Nielsen rating - well behind Revolution on NBC, and not all that far ahead of whatever was on Spanish-language station Univision at the time:

    TLC has set a new UK premiere date for the first season of ABC’s drama series Mistresses. The 13 episode series will now bow on the channel on Thursday July 25th at 9pm.
