Hi, I have a running and "almost" perfect 86 BMW 635csi Black and a unfinished project gone wrong, irish mx5 1.6 to get moved on. Where do I put the pics?
    as in what thread?
    Thanks.

There isn't one but we could help you design the ad to help move them on.

Tell me more about the MX5.

The Classics forum has a forsale thread however where the BMW would certainly fit in

If you need to move the MX5 quickly, I'll take it off your hands.
    I just ask a €100 removal fee. :)

ok mx5 was red, a daily driver until about 18months ago, someone lightly hit the r/h/r bumper and smashed it so off the road for repairs. Decided to give it a full respray as our bodyshop was quiet, all body prep done, primed in grey and then the sh-t hit the fan, 3 big jobs came in and the mx5 was pushed into the yard unfinished.

Unfortunatley it had no screen in it when pushed out and a plastic cover was too hastily fitted and taped on.

Today its in rag order, the plastic sagged and started leaking long ago and the interior is soaked and growing mould bigtime.

I think its a 91 reg, looked like this,
    File:Red-na-nb.JPG

it has both hardtop and softtop.

    Damn, that sucks.
What are the big jobs other than the screen and interior?

Beautiful car before hand, exactly what I'm looking for.

no other big jobs needed, needs a rear bumper and some exterior rear plastic panel, front shocks where shot if i remember right. I bet I could start and drive it in 10 min.

edit : if i didnt mind a wet arse!

It's hard to say how much it's worth.
On one hand it sounds like its a good healthy car but there's a lot of money to go into it to get it acceptable.
    Such a shame.

1st to offer 300 can have the mx5, 635 will need more thought.

Wish I had the money now, it'd be worth it as a summer project.
Sticking it on Donedeal for that money should have it moved in a few hours I'd say.

Clean the interior and put the hardtop on for the ad and it should fly.

Hey man, we don't allow selling in the main motors forum.

    Head over to classics.

But either way, I bet you'd have the MX5 sold in 30 minutes flat if you stuck it up on adverts with some decent pics.
