    Hi all,

Building house at moment - roof on just last week.
We are putting a stove with back boiler in so will be using a lot of sticks/coal. We are tryin to come up with a clever way of storing the fuel in the sitting room.

Because the sitting Room is to the front of house it will be awkward to haul fuel from back of house without dirtying the whole place. So what we are thinking is....the utility backs the sitting room- we asked the builder to include a lentil in one of the alcoves on side of fireplace and we are trying to figure out a neat design that will allow us top up the fuel storage from utility room and gives us access to the fuel from sitting room.

Has anyone anything like this or seen anything like this? Trawling through Internet but not finding anything of use

Try Pintrest. Great site for ideas. Saw something in The Front Door pub in Galway they have to store coal.
