spotted a 1660 Wolseley in Durrow on Sunday, the engine looked lost in the space provided, plenty room for as many more cylinders or for spannering.

I own a 16/60. If the car was sold in Australia it had a 2.4 ltr 6 cylinder engine. Mine as the name suggests, has 1.6 4.

Mine is the same colour, better condition. Also that's a Mk 1 of the Aussie, or a 15/60. Notice the taller tailfins.

This is my 16/60. Mirrors aren't a match as one had to be replaced.

    Thanks for that ad.

The Booth Poole CKD cars had some detail differences, like plainer lettering, and I think they weren't quite as well made as the Brit ones. There are one or two CKD 16/60s on the road. Not sure about MkIV Magnettes. The twin SU carbs would give it a decent bit of extra go. The 6/110 often had PAS (option), the lack of which makes the 16/60 a bit of work at slow speeds. A non PAS 6/110 would give you muscles. It'd be nice if there's at least one or two of the CKDs survive.
