Since the PSU is the only thing I know for sure got wet, that is the first part I'm going to try to replace. The above is the exact PSU that I currently have but it is no longer on the market. I have been looking at Amazon and a few other places and want to make sure whichever one I order is going to have all the connectors I need.

Can anyone help ID the connectors from the pictures? I am a total novice and have never replaced hardware.

It's a standard ATX any modern ATX PSU can replace it. You probably don't need 700 watt. Most likely 450 watt+ will do.

    This will do the job

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Antec-VP450P-450W-Power-Supply/dp/B004BLMFSE/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1366830790&sr=8-2&keywords=antec+psu

Amazon are good with returns so you could probably return it if your system is damaged beyond repair.

This is my spec. You think 450 W would be sufficient? At this point I don't want to rill out a lot of bank as who knows what else got fried.

    Processor upgrade 3705e
    Mobo Asus m2a74-am se
    4 GB DDR 1333mhz
    250 GB Seagate
    DVD 20x RW
    Nvidia GTS 250

Yes a good quality 450 watt will be fine for that system. It's what Nvidia recommend for a system with that GPU and they always err on the side of caution.
    Antec are good.

Fingers crossed it was just the PSU damaged :)
