Fresh carpets

Need carpets for a Wolseley 16/60. The knot density is fairly high, a nice enough quality of carpet. The carpet is maroon, but shops don't appear to have the sort of carpet in that sort of knot in that colour, so far at this point in the search. Suggestions as to a good shop? I'd buy a full set of carpet for the interior, although strictly only the nearside carpet need replacing, due to a water leak that's nearly solved.

It's a maroon carpet with a dense knot and soft texture.

Thanks for that. Carpets aren't structural, but it's nice to have them.

http://ruskinstore.co.uk/riley-four72-luxury-wool-replacement-carpet-set/ seems to be a match. The 4/72 has differences like radiator, carbs and switchgear, but I reckon the carpets are the same. A bit expensive though.

See what the ladies in CUC are quoting - I remember the texture of the Wolseley carpets but bear in mind that they are 'moulded' to fit ( ie. when you take them out of the car they still retain the shape of the tunnel and footwells ), whereas commercial carpet will just fall flat . MAYBE if you found a similar shade commercial carpet and got some cut and trimmed in red or black leather just to fit the floor panel area ??

The hardest to deal with carpets is that to maintain it or make it free away from dust and mould.So if you are increasing the size of corporate carpet,you may have to adopt the measures to clean it once or twice in a week.
