What kind of cooker?

We are redesigning our kitchen. We currently have an eye-level double oven/grill and a separate hob. I am not sure we need a double oven and someone mentioned a combination microwave. Has anyone gone through the process of selecting a cooker recently and, if so, would you be willing to give me some pointers as to the advantages and disadvantages of the different arrangements - I find it all very confusing. I currently use electricity and my budget is approx. €1000

if you havent the need for a d/o buy a decent single oven and fit it at eye level, and fit an integrated microwave overhead, the german ovens are the best build quality and they come with several options such as pyro clean etc, you will get the intg. m/w for around 200+ euro so you should have plenty to spare for the fan oven.

Just have a look at the double oven with microwave. I think that suites you. Its really efficient too. You should go for double oven with microwave but still the decision is yours. Good Luck
