    Well lads and ladies

picked up a new four year old the other day, she is out of a tb mare, by a stallion called spirit of rathcore.

I never heard of him, only have it on the marking sheet(no book yet) cannot track down this horse for the life of me! all i know is that he was/is in co meath.

so i am asking, can anyone here find him! there is a prize(secret) for anyone who can find information leading to the locating of this stallion!

    many thanks!

what type of passport came with the new horse? was it a IRISH HORSE BOARD passport ? what colour or a IPSA passport? or a weatherbys

the horse has no book, just a markingsheet, with a chip barcode from 2009! she was marked and chipped for a horse board passport.

I cannot find the stallion on any database, i am hoping for a word of mouth result!

The stallion will never get marked on the book, all i want is photo or something to ad to her file for when i sell her! main reason being is she is almost full thoroughbred, and i don't want the eejits you get out there wasting my time arguing that she is a full thoroughbred when selling time comes!

sorry i mis read the first post

god it possibly could be someones back yard non approved stallion

Contact Weatherbys& IHB and ask them is there such a stallion on their books but as you know there is not from your searches

    pity i suppose
will the IHB now take a marking chart that is 4 years old ? not sure about that no doubt there is always some loop hole or condition
but she is micro chipped so fingers crossed

It is someones backyard stallion, hence why i can't find him!

HSI and weatherbys were my first point of contact, the dam was a weatherbys thoroughbred, slaughtered the year the filly was was born.

So after that, i managed to track down a number for the place where she was foaled(from the studs name on the marking sheet)

The man on the phone told me it was a coloured stallion in meath somewhere!

She is a top class little filly, and will hopefully be a money horse in the not too distant future! just better to have some proof of sire for her!

as regards a four year marking sheet, since the horsemeat scandal no they won't take, has to be re-done!
