Registration book or Vehicle Licensing Cert?

Hi

I'm selling my car
I lost the ownership documents and am filling out an RF134 (application for lost documents)

One of the questions is if I need a "Registration book or Vehicle Licensing Cert"

Which do I need to sell my car?

It seems its asking which one you lost rather than which one you need.
The Books went out of use a long time back,so depending on the age of the car you either had the Book or the cert.

Where your vehicle was first registered after April 2004 a new form of Vehicle Registration Certificate would have been issued. This replaced both the Vehicle Registration Certificate and the Vehicle Licensing Certificate issued for cars registered before April 2004.

So which form OP should fill-in? as RF134 which OP mentioned, seem to have only Registration Book or Vehicle licensing certificiate options.

You need the VRC (or in OPs case the Vehicle Licensing Cert) to sell the car.
The second option I think on the form.

My guess is that they just haven't changed the name from VLC to VRC yet on the form.
