I think what my esteemed contributer is asking is we'd need to know the type of battery e.g. lead, lithium, how old the battery is etc
Without this info, you may as well be asking how long is a piece of string.

Where was the battery left? Just being left on the ground can drain the battery.

That's it exactly, I thought that was plain to see, as in the answer to the OP's question and mine are obviously the same, i.e. "it depends".
Not so obvious to everyone it would appear:pac:.

I've a motocaddy lead acid battery. I charge it after use fully and don't touch it till its used again and it's perfect. Usually it's left for a week but has been left for up to 4 weeks and still worked perfectly

My pleasure, you're welcome, I hope your brand new motocad is still working well after only 4 weeks.
