    Hi all,

After 12 months on ego batteries and various clearomisers and cartomisers, I’m feeling it’s time to move on a bit (prompted by the fact my 12 month old batteries are starting to fall apart).

Things were a lot simpler when the only option talked about was a lavatube, but now I’m struggling to work out what the best option for me is. On the battery side, I wouldn’t consider a provari (cost), but I would like something reliable and reasonably long lasting as I can generally control my bouts of newandshinyitis.

In relation to the other end of the device, I would prefer a tank option. I’m never going to be an electrical expert, but I think a rebuildable is the most likely solution to my growing frustration with leaking clearomisers and availability.

My exciting life moves between the car and my desk, so size isn’t an issue, and I’ll probably keep an ego option for when discretion is required.

    You advice is much appreciated.

I'd suggest an evic with a kanger protank. The protank is easily rebuildable and have had no issues with it thus far. The evic you can get various bodies and accessories for to tailor it to your taste.

If you're very keen on this option I'll go into details. Any questions ask. The good thing about the evic too is that you can use it as an out and about device with an 18350 battery tube it's light weight and most of it fits in your hand. I can post pics and stuff later if you want.

I'm selling a Vamo and a few bits that may get you going. Have s look in the for sale sticky!

Thanks for the suggestions. No surprises with the two options suggested as they seem to come up a lot.

StickyIcky - A picture of your set up would be good if you have one to hand. Have you any dislikes, or find your self looking for something else. Would you recommend a starter kit or buying it separately.

E Fudd - I'm tempted by this. How old is the Vamo and whats the condition like. I'm a little concerned that I would end up been happier with a protank also. How did you find the AGA-T, and how does is rate on the difficult to rebuild scale.

No harm getting a vamo and protank. Won't cost much to get set up and you'll have a decent set up to play around with

He's just reduced it to €70! You can buy the Protank apart from that and it's still a bargain.

AGA-T rates about an 8 on the difficult to rebuild scale with the .15 wire he's including in the deal. If you can get ribbon Kanthal that jumps down to about a 4 or 5, even for a newbie.
Watch a tutorial, roll your mesh, flame it up, wrap the wire, pulse the fire button checking for hotspots (the .15 will either cause many or snap because of these, the ribbon is thick and resilient), nudging wire if there are any hotspots and making sure the coils are lighting up evenly. When they are, pour the juice in and vape.
Ignore the Protank though, get an iGO-L. Very easy to rebuild and a great great vape.

Just to clarify - the vamo was second hand when I got it, but is in excellent condition!

There's also some .20 wire included in the deal! And I'll even build a new wick and wire on it for you.

Def a bargain to be had there. Vamo is a great device. I got one second hand and love it.

Ok, the rewick seals the deal.

I'll take it off your hands. PM me to arrange the logistics.

Oh dear, in fairness I didn't click add to cart in case I ended up buying it. It seemed a reasonable assumption that it would only be put on the site if they had some, and it definitely only appeared this afternoon.

    I'm sure people will understand...........won't they........I'm sorry:(

    Just to update the thread.

The package arrived from E.Fudd, as described. First impressions were, OMG, the size of it, especially with the AGA-T.

Unfortunately, my desire to see how things come apart meant I broke the wick.

However, I have a Vivi Nova that I tried for a couple of days months ago and couldn't get on with it. So the big new is that I am after doing my first ever rewick with the wick and wire I recevied, stuck it on the Vamo, and I'm now sitting in a cloud of vaper that I didn't think possible.

I'll tackle the AGA-T at the weekend, but I think I've just stepped on to a slippery slope.:)
