Have never done it myslef but have seen it done plenty of times, cut off the legs at the knees...slit up along the stomach and around the neck and then just peel the skin back carefullly, it comes off very easily, make sure to take the tail too and just pop it onto the other lamb....work very well !!

throw a bit of salt on the skin before you present to the ewe, will make her lick the lamb.

Make sure to keep the dead lamb with the ewe until you are ready to skin it.
