    Lads,
Been looking at these two cars
    2009 - 2.0 1790bhp (Monza silver) 85km
    2010 - 2.0 120BHP (Black) 94km

Both S-line with essentially the same interior. Both great looking cars - with about a 3k price difference

Just wondeirng if there are any known issues with either year type?

Would the milage cause any worry?

I'd say the 2009 has been remapped.

    Which one is more expensive?

    Remapped?

    2009 - 23k
    2010 - 26k

    Remapped?

    2009 - 23k
    2010 - 26k

Tuned for more power, I assume the 1790bhp is a 170? If that is the case it's the car I'd go for. Lower miles, cheaper, more power.

Are they both imports? 2009 one most likely is, and will be full S-Line spec if that's the case.

2010 could be an Irish car with one of the special edition S-Line packs that were available during the year.

I'd go for the lower mileage, older car as well.

No brainer really so long as the 09 one was from factory, not tuned. Pity it's silver, but that's typical in my experience of looking! The best result for any given car I'm looking for is invariably feckin silver!!

I think their both UK imports - same spec bar a few things.
2010 has bluetooth, 2009 may not (Waiting for verifiication)
2009 has those new Xenon LED day lights.

Apart from that I think they are much the same apart from engine, colour and price.

Monza Silver is an S-Line only colour (or stupid price on standard cars).

Here's a pic of an A6 in Monza. Still silver ish, but kind of grey too.

Thought all S-Line models had xenons and DRLs

Not sure as only going on what I have been told over the phone. Have yet to go out and see the 2009 model.

When it comes to selling on, say in 2-3 years time, would the 2010 version hold its value better given its a newer car but has a decent milage built up - personally I wont be doing more than 10k aprox a year

I'd look at the Passat CC also, they are in and around the price of a similar A4 and are a lot nicer and better equipped over an A4 imo.

Had a look at some Passats - the CC is a very nice car but my personal preference is still audi over VW.

    I have an 09 170bhp A4 S-line 2.0 Diesel. Test drove a couple of 120bhp se models before I bought it.
Go for the 170. Factory standard they are, re-mapped will take the power to over 200bhp.
