    Hello All ,
I have a quick about the cycle to work scheme
I availed of the scheme back in Jan2010 with my previous employer, since then I have started with a new employer in Jan2012 , unfortunately last week my bike was stolen and I am wondering am I able to use the scheme again seeing as I have a new employer??

My understanding is that you cannot use it again until five years have elapsed, as it's tied to the employee and not the employer.

Yeah from what I remember, like LeftBlank said it's a €1,000 limit per 5 years per person. Nothing to do with how many employers you have.

I interpret it as being tied to the job and not the individual. There is discussion on this in the Megathread which covers all questions in the Irish scheme, so I'm closing this thread

FYI, there were contrasting views on this specific point raised by different contributors.
