Meeting buddhists

I've been interested in the concept of Buddhism for some time and more recently have been reading a lot on it. The Nichirin branch seems to appeal to me greatly.

Are there any meetings or get-togethers of buddhists - particularly this branch but not necessarily restristed to it - in North Kildare or Dublin? While reading about things is all well and good I'd like to meet other people who practice it to talk to them and learn more for myself to see if it really is for me. I'm not trying to fill a hole but I feel I live buddhist teachings in my daily life anyway and I'd like to expand on that if I can.

Could you help me out further and point out which of the search results gives details of meetings with like minded individuals locally? The first two results give courses, the third a wiki entry and the fourth and fifth meetups in LA and Ohio which are a little too far away for me. Funnily enough the 6th result was on a catholic forum.

But thanks for your assistance. I'll ensure to bookmark lmgtfy.com for future queries as it seems so helpful.
