    Hi All,
Long time lurker first time caller.
Planning on a weekend away with a few mates in San Sebastian in a few weeks. I'd like to incorporate a day of mountain biking/road biking while there. It's be a shame to leave all those hills untouched.
Has anyone any experience of renting a MTB or road bike over there? I've rented city bikes there before, but the only thing I can find online are organized multi-day tours.
    all suggestions greatly appreciated. cheers.

Cheers Countrykid. I've done that before and really enjoyed it, but would really like to reach a little further into the countryside this time. Need to work off those pintxos somehow!!

Did you find a place that rents road bikes out in the end? I see mountain bike hire, looking at strava there seems to be plenty of climbs around the place anyway!!

Unfortunately not. the weather was crap so we ended up just renting city bikes in a small shop beside the main surf beach in the town (Zurriola, I think). They gave us a map with a few tracks around the city and up the the old funfair on the west side of the town but nothing to hectic.
It did give us more time to eat our own body weight in pinxos and cider though, so all was not lost :)
