This is directly after a battery change.

Perhaps I disturbed a cable when fitting the battery?
When I change the battery, I did neg off first and neg on last and there were no sparks at any stage.

    Any thoughts please?

Old post but just giving update/resolution.

Car needed jump start recently and rev counter started working again. Incidentally, new battery has dead cells and has been replaced FOC.
