Any Ideas Where WWE Should Go From Here?!

23-04-2013 5:44pm#1So the Road to Wrestlemania season is over. We all know WWE place more emphasis on the run up to April but now that we've entered the "cool down" period, things, historically, get a little toned down. So if you were given total control of booking, what would you do over the next twelve months until WM30?
Let's see if we can get some good ideas stirring. No doubt we'll be better than Creative.
So here's mine....
John Cena beats Ryback at ER. The Shield (Ambrose and Rollins) win the tag-team titles at the PPV too. Lesnar defeats HHH in the cage match.
In the weeks running up to Payback the Shield announce that there will be a 4th member. On one of the Raws, there is an altercation between Team Hell No and Ryback leading to a FFW at Payback - Cena, Ryback, Bryan, Kane.
Maybe Shield can defend titles against Sheamus and Orton or something.
At Payback, Orton finally turns heel (a role he's most comfortable with) and we get to see the Viper character again. During the world title match, Bryan has Cena pinned and beaten but ref is absent. Cena eventually wins the match.
On Raw, Cena says only one man deserves a title shot and that man is Daniel Bryan. At MITB, Bryan has Cena pinned again and beaten but ref is not present. Enter Brock Lesnar. Predictably, Lesnar attacks Cena but then F5's Bryan too. Instead of pulling Bryan over Cena, he pulls Cena over Bryan and leaves. Cena wins. Chris Hero is eventually revealed as the Shields 4th man.
On Raw, Heyman says Lesnar wants to face Cena for the title, not Bryan. Lesnar wants to right last years loss. Enter Rick Flair. Flair says he wants to re-create the Four Horsemen to combat the Shield and get rid of them once and for all. He chooses Ziggler as the first member saying he reminds him of his younger self. Much like the AJ Styles storyline, I think Ziggler in the robe would work well. Ziggler is still world champion at this stage. Big E and AJ will do something else. Ziggler and Flair are always in tuxedos and always come to the ring with dozens of women highlighting Flairs playboy character. They say the new 4 Horsemen will get bigger over time with new members.
At SS, towards the end of the match, CM Punk's music plays distracting Cena but nobody comes out. Lesnar eventually wins the match and raises the WWE title. Lesnar leaves. As Cena lays unconscious in the ring, out comes Cm Punk. He tells Cena how he hates what he stands for etc etc and leaves. Medical staff rush to Cena. End show. The Summer of Punk now begins.
On Raw, Punk comes out and explains everything he hates about the state of the industry. He says Vince McMahon will eventually kill the business. And he's not prepared to let that happen. He calls out Heyman. Applauds Heyman on his past work in ECW. Says he has a better eye at picking out REAL talent than Vince and then that he's a better promoter than McMahon and invites Heyman to set up a brand new wrestling promotion, together. Heyman, dying to have another shot at bringing down Vince, agrees. Vinces music plays. He comes out with a few less known (well known to the smarks/workhorses) and says if they can please escort Mr. Punk and Mr. Heyman off the premises. They walk down the ramps and get in the ring but instead of touching Punk, they turn around and look up at Vince. Vince is shocked. The shows ends with JBL saying that Heymans new promotion just got a bigger roster.
Next Raw, HHH returns. He walks to the ring with Stephanie. He says he won't
jeopardise his childrens future by allowing Punk to destroy everything his father-in-law worked so hard to create. He says Punk has had his fun, everyone had a good laugh but now it's time to go back to business as usual. Punk appears on the titantron live from his new promotion across town. (WWE can rent out an arena and fill it). Punk says if HHH wants to talk, then he has to do it face-to-face. He then goes on to verbally abuse Steph and asks if HHH needs Stephanies permission to come to the arena and see him. HHH leaves the ring furious. He gets in his car and drives over to the other arena.
During the night, Punk comes back on the screen. He asks people on Raw to come over to the dark side where people accomplish based on merit and not politics. He shows on an amateur camera the Shield backstage on his new show, as well as Lesnar with the WWE title sitting on a couch and laughing at the camera. Brock has also switched sides. Brock says he is going to do what Bret Hart didn't get a chance to do. He is going to go to the ring and put the WWE title in the trash. He talks about breaking Shawn Michaels arm and how he kissed Vinces ass to screw Bret. When HHH arrives, he enters the arena and goes straight to the ring. He asks Punk to show his face. He's attacked by the Shield. They bring him outside, put him in a bin. Lock the top and run it off a massive ramp. The bin crashes to the ground and they walk off laughing. The show ends.
Next Raw, Punk promises to invade Raw with his new promotions roster. At the end of the show, Punks crew shows up and starts destroying the place Nexus style. Vince comes out and makes a challenge. He makes three matches for Night of Champions. Whichever team wins 2 out of three, takes control of the WWE. Vince tells Heyman this is his chance. The one he's been waiting his entire career for. The matches are: The Shield Vs. Sheamus, Jericho, Daniel Bryan and John Cena. The second, a tag team match - Vinces choice...HHH and The Rock Vs. Heymans choice - Brock Lesnar and Orton. The third match Vince says he has something special planned for CM Punk. He says Punk will face none other than....Austins music hits and he comes out on his quad. He circles the ring and goes back up the ramp. He drinks a beer at the top. Punk and Heyman looked stunned. Show ends.
On the last Raw before NoC, Heyman cuts a promo much like the one he did back when it was the Alliance Vs. WWE. It's a classic moment and you can check it out on YouTube. He tells Vince that he destroyed wrestling, that he hates his guts etc.
At NoC, Team WWE beat The Shield. Vince is 1 - 0. Austin comes out for his match, the bell rings. He stuns Punk. Vince yells at him to cover him but then he sticks his two fingers up at Vince and then stuns Vince. He leaves the ring, gets on his quad and drives up the ramp. The ref counts to 10 and Punk wins by count out. Vince and Heyman are 1 - 1. At the end of the last match, Rock and HHH get into an altercation and start pushing each other. They eventually start hitting each other and we can all get the nostalgia. Brock/Orton wins this match because Rock/HHH can't put aside history. Heyman wins 2-1 and now controls the WWE. (The reason for Austin not having a full match is that he's not able to).
Heyman spends the next 4 weeks putting all the titles on his own people. Everything from the shows lighting to the intro turns into a big Heyman worship. Even the show now has ECW everywhere (WWE owns this logo so it's not a problem). Meanwhile, Flairs 4 Horsement group has filled up with new members. They spend the next few weeks fighting Heymans Shield and his cronies. In this time, Rock and HHH have started going at each other again. The Rock proposes a match at Over The Limit for nostalgia purposes. At OTL, it will be Rock Vs. HHH. Heyman loves it...he has managed to get the other side infighting....
At OTL, HHH can beat the Rock. But there's another PPV in the same month called Hell In A Cell. In a rematch, Rock can beat HHH in his hometown of Miami. It's 1-1 so the feud can end here.
That's pretty much where I got...not sure where to go from here. All I know is that Survivor Series needs a big event so I was thinking Undertaker Vs. Brock Lesnar for the WWE Title. The CM Punk Vs WWE story can continue. All I know is WM30 will be Rock Vs. Brock, Cena Vs. Undertaker, HHH Vs. CM Punk. HHH can finally put over CM Punk. And Cena turns heel at WM30 by joining The Shield as their 5th member.
Anyone got any other ideas? What matches would you like to see within the next year leading to Mania?!
I haven't put a lot of thought into the piece I wrote....just drew it up in 5 mins... 1
