Black long sleeved top!

Can anyone help with my search for the perfect black long sleeved top. I am looking for plain black long sleeved tops with a little bit of a stretch. I don't want them too tight or too loose! They need to stand up to washing well and not bobble on me! The last batch I bought were from Next and I wasn't too impressed as they lost shape after washing. Would spend €15 each (maximum) on the right one! I don't if its low cut or not just not polo neck!

    Thanks in advance :)

The ones in Penneys are actually pretty good, especially when you realise they are around €4. Mine stood up to frequent washing a while back and they're still not falling apart. Dunnes ones used to be terrible but they could have improved. I'm imagining that you're going to have trouble finding long sleeve tops anywhere now. They're available everywhere in Winter but I think they've all been replaced by tank tops.

+1 for the Penneys ones, definitely keep their shape and have a bit of stretch in them. Have one from Dunnes on at the moment, it's pretty good but prefer my Penneys one.

I use these for work, they keep their shape but I would love if they were just 1cm longer at the waist.

I have several from Vila, various lengths, slash neck and scoop neck, 3/4 sleeve and long sleeve, usually 17.95 or 19.95, stretchy without being too clingy, and they wash like a dream. I sometimes tumble dry them, doesn't effect the shape. New Look had great organic cotton ones a year or so ago which were great, no idea if they still do them but lovely quality.

I got mine in penneys recently but they might be gone now, still, give it a go

+1 on the Vila, got a black and a white long sleeve scoopneck tops out of there a year ago and they are lovely quality and shape. They wash really well and sit on lovely.

H&M do great ones, all different colours for €10. They keep their shape really well and you can get long ones too :)

+1 for the Penneys ones too - I have them in every colour at this stage - I wash mine regularly and tumble dry them too and they hold their shape great plus the black ones don't fade. HTH!

Savida in Dunnes often do them and I find they wash well. I also find Marks and Spencers great for basics like that.

I don't like the fit of the penneys ones but have one from Savida that is quite stylish on its own.

H and M have a line of eco friendly basics like long sleeve tops that are cheap and wear really well.

I've never bought vila stuff online, but they're everywhere now including carraig donn stores and used to be in liffey valley, probably still are

My Penneys ones are better than the Dunnes ones too. I got a few nice ones in AWear too.
