Hey, placed an order and received order confirmation but not sure to to proceed on payment. I never had any standard option to pay by credit card like I usually get when buying online. Delivery is coming to Kerry.

    Any thoughts or ideas.
Appreciate the help, thanks in advance.
PS it says prepayment on my order confirmation email.

Prepayment is a bank transfer. Was there a paypal option too?

Thx mate, I'll look through that thread. Think they charge an extra 3% for paypal but I didn't see any option at all to pay like you would on amazon, komplett and other such sites.

German stores love bank transfers, most of them charge an extra fee for any other payment method.

You could also link your credit card to a paypal account and pay with that if you don't mind the extra 3 percent.

I know it's legit but I hate having weird ways to pay. I'd much prefer now just to get the stuff off komplett or dabs if the price is ok.

Here's a few other german stores with more payment options. Should definitely be better value than dabs or komplett and have more product choices

    getgoods.de / hoh.de
    computeruniverse.net

not as good but might have what you're looking for
    voelkner.de
    reichelt.de

You'll only get the paypal or credit card options depending on what email you account is set on. I registered on hardwareversand with a yahoo account and could only get a back transfer option at first, which was no good to me. I had to cancel the order and register on the site again with a gmail account to get a paypal payment option so maybe try that :)

I have 2 hotmail accounts on hwvs, one has no paypal option but the other one does. Strange

Might try using my gmail account. Pretty sure I got no option for paypal on my yahoo account.

I was reluctant to use Hardwareversand for a long time because, I didn't like the idea of a bank transfer. But, I bit the bullet a few months ago and went for it . I just walked into my bank and let them take care of all the details for me. It took only a few minutes and was painless. The transfer went through and I got my item within a few days. I know it seems a hassle but, it is worth it in the end.

If you do it online it's even easier. Slightly more difficult the first time round, but then every other time it's only a click or two and you're done.
