Revenue Form 12

    Hi

My OH received a from 12 from the Revenue last week. He doesn't know why he received this and is a little worried.
He works part time - 2/3 days in a bar and he signs on for the remainder of the week. The bar owner is an older lady who isn't very up to date with revenue forms etc and he has never received an official payslip etc. Somebody told him he needs to get a P60 from her however she doesn't know what this is (and neither do we)

He also has a small farm so we assume he would have to include any payments he received from the government in relation to the farm?

Any advice possible on this would be great.

form 12 must be completed if received.
p60 is form given by employer after year end detailing pay and tax and prsi and usc for the year. employer is obliged to provide this old lady or not. if he has a farm and income from it he should probably seek professional advice before completing the tax return

An employer who has never heard of a P60? Unreal.

Every single employee in Irl, who is employed as of 31st Dec, is entitled to a P60 from their employer.

It is simply a statement of annual gross earnings and tax deducted.

I receive a P60 from my employer every year in Jan, as do millions of employees across Ireland.

How somebody could not know about that is unbelievable.
