    Hi all

I'm wondering has anyone ever built a metal frame for a mini ramp for skateboarding?

Can you or someone you know build a metal mini ramp frame?

Lots of googling and have came up with nothing , also posted in extreme sports but no one has replied so thought I'd post here.

It's shocking that I can't find someone in Ireland with the terrible weather we have and the large skating , biking , rollerblading scene.

Here was my original post in extreme sports forum:

Is it half pipe or quarter pipe you want to make?
Any steel fabricator or welder should be able to make one of these for you, then line it with marine ply.

It's also a project that I will be undertaking in the near future.

It would be a half pipe.

And that's the plan , just don't want all wood with the Irish weather. So it can just be resurfaced as required.

Do you have anyone chosen for your project?

I shall be attempting this task myself.
I shall make a section from box steel for the top of the ramp clad in marine ply and the actual ramp from 2 x angle steel for extreme left/right and box steel support in the centre. Bracing placed laterially at several locations.
I just need a fabricator to bend the steel to the correct profile for the ramp. All the welding I'll do myself.
