    Hi,
I need to be in DCU this Friday morning at 9:00am.
I am in Kilkenny city and I will be driving :(.
Any idea how long would it will take me to get there at this time in the morning?
On a Friday? According to google maps and the likes it will take me 1hour and 35 minutes.
    Can I believe that?
What time should I leave Kilkenny at?
    Any help would be appreciated?
    THANK YOU!

If I were you, I'd allow up to 2 hours if traveling via the city centre. Going via the West Link toll booth and across the M 50 will be considerably quicker though ; 90 minutes will do comfortably.

Hi Losty Dublin, Thank you for that.
Yeah, I was thinking about avoiding the city centre all right.
But even going via the tool bridge I tought it would take longer, no?
Is traffic around the red cow at this time not bad, no?

Traffic around Newlands Cross and the Red Cow will be slow but it won't be anything like the crippling waits of olden days. You don't have traffic lights at the Red Cow to contend with anymore since the interchange was upgraded so you may even find that your car won't even have to stop. You might find entering DCU via Ballymum Collins Ave a little slow as well but again it won't be major delays.
