I need to move up to a 6/7 seater and have no idea which one to go for.

Our budget is about 7-8000. I would like anything from 2005 upwards.

I really want something that is economical to run!!

The Honda FR-V is a great car. Honda reliability, three separate rear seats (great for baby seats or booster seats) and a sixth seat in the front when needed. The boot is enormous too. I had one for 5 years - the best mid-sized fanily car on the market in my opinion.

Corolla Verso 1.6 or 1.8. Reliable and will do 40mpg on short runs, more on the motorway (44/45mpg)
