Asos, bikini sizes, and sizes in general

    Hi there

Have seen some gorgeous bikinis on Asos but I have also been reading a few reports online that the size guide is difficult, has anyone bought any from them before and would know? I know there are different labels on it, so that probably makes it harder. I am interested in some Esprit ones and some Asos ones too. (Well I am really interested in the Chloe ones but probably can't afford those ones :()

Also, in general what do you make of their sizings? I read some posts from previously stating in general they're true to size. I am an 8 in general but at times 8's can be tight around the arms and shoulders in some places (A-Wear is tight, but Debenhams and Dunnes ok), then, at other times....loose, so it's hard to tell!!! If anyone can advise that would be fantastic, thanks.

I've bought a few in Asos before-all the Asos brand. I was really happy with them.....I'm a size 8 too and didn't have any problems-I think one of them had those side ties on the bikini bottoms and they were really flattering.

I've found asos sizes really random when ordering there from the past. Sometimes I'd order two similar asos brand items in the same size and one would be too big and the other too small!

As for the Esprit ones, I suggest you look them up on esprit.eu, there's a size guide if you go into the item and hover over the size info on the right, it will tell you what kind of fit it is.

Thanks for the replies. I found some lovely ones in Monsoon in the end!
