Done them a few times IMO do the whole lot of them when you have it gutted cause its a pain in the arse having to do another one down the road. They can be a bugger to get some of them out, gas if you have some seriously eases up the job or if not i have used the welder to heat them up also a point if you can get the bearing No. before you start working on it it will leave your options open on where to buy them cause there can be a big difference in prices, hope this helps ya!!

Ya'll probably need the angle grinder to chop off nuts and bolts if it hasn't been stripped in a long while, the fertilizer corrodes them. I remember pricing up the aluminium housing before, mad money and it was only the needle bearing inside in it gone, so I bought the bearing separately in my local engineering workshop.

200-250 amps on the welder and a no 10 rod is the easiest way to get them out, but you won't be reading too many numbers on bearings after it;)

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

If you measure the bearing you can order direct from the likes of modern plant or reliance bearings.

So what is best route to get at bearings.

From underneath or from above (within the shaker)

If I remember correctly, cant be done from underneath, only way to do it is to start by pull off the hopper, take off the 3 sided thingy in the middle to break up lumps (sorry dont know the name of it ha!), undo all the nuts on cover, which will then lift off, 1st part of stripping the actually assembly itself would be to remove the aluminium housing at the front, then remove the two big plastic screw on caps on each side, you can get access to most of the bearings then.

    I turned mine upside down.
Hopper off plastic cover next 4bolts plastic caps off 17mm bolts out either side tap the fork from side to side bearings should come out
